Excerpts from "Ways with the Grail Message -'In the Light of Truth' ~ by Abd-Ru-Shin"

"...Jesus has already shown you the simple way leading unerringly to the goal, for deep truth lies in the simple words: 'Love thy neighbour as thyself!'"
"With these words He gave the key to freedom and ascent! Because it is an irrefutable fact: What you do for your neighbour you do in reality only for yourselves! Solely for yourselves, since according to the Eternal Laws every-thing returns to you without fail, good or evil, either already here or there. It will surely come! Thus you are shown the simplest of ways in which this step to the good volition is to be understood.
"You should give your neighbour with your being, your nature! Not necessarily with money and goods. For then those without means would be excluded from the possibility of giving. And in this being, in this 'giving yourself' in the relation with your neighbour, in the consideration and respect you voluntarily offer him, lies the 'love' of which Jesus speaks; lies also the help you give to your neighbour, because it enables him to change himself or ascend further, and because he gains strength from it."

A life devoted to God in the spirit of Christian charity is hardly still possible today on the basis of a childlike belief, for the conviction of the existence of the One Creator has long since been degraded to humanised images of God and conflicting denominational dogmas that cannot be reconciled with earnest thinking. Moreover, these contribute substantially to the fact that ever-diminishing numbers of people still recognise values in the present religious concepts.

For an effective new approach traditional belief no longer suffices. Genuine conviction is imperative!This, however, is primarily associated with knowledge. Therefore Abd-Ru-Shin substantiates his explanations in the Grail Message with the activity of all-embracing Creation-Laws that interweave all spheres of this visible world as well as the vast realm "beyond the five senses".
Abd-Ru-Shin describes these Creation-Laws - synonymous with the Will of God - as the "Language of the Lord":

"The whole of Creation is the Language of God, which you should earnestly strive to read, and which is by no means as difficult as you may think."

In addition he states:

"You earthmen are in this Creation to find supreme happiness! In the Living Language which God speaks to you! And to understand this Language, to learn it, and to sense inwardly the Will of God in it, that is your goal during your journey through Creation. In Creation itself, to which you belong, lies the explanation of the purpose of your existence, and at the same time also the recognition of your goal during your journey through Creation! in no other way can you find either.
"This demands of you that you live Creation. But you are only able to live or experience it when you really know it.
"With my Message I now open the Book of Creation for you! The Message clearly shows you the Language of God in Creation, which you must learn to understand so that you can make it completely your own."

Adages from the motherland

Yoruba is one of the major African languages, spoken by approximately 20 million West Africans (Southwestern Nigeria, Togo, Benin and Sierra Leone). Pockets of Yoruba language speakers and culture are to be found in South and Central America ( Brazil, Venezuela, Cuba) and there are sizeable Yoruba speaking communities in both the US and Britain. Recently, there have been developments in the UK to include Yoruba as a recognized minority language.

Here are a few Yoruba's adages that have been passed down from generation to generation:

MÚRA SÍ ISÉ RE ÒRÉÈ MI.......Work hard, my friend.

ISÉ NI A FI Í DI ENI GIGA.......work is used to elevate one in respect and
importance (Aspiring to higher height is fully dependent on hard work).

BÍ A KÒ BÁ RÉNI FÈYÌN TÌ, BÍ ÒLE LÀ Á RÍ;......if we do not have
anyone to lean on, we appear indolent.

BÍ A KO RÉNI GBÉKÈLÉ,.....if we do not have anyone to trust (we can depend on...).

À A TERA MÓ ISÉ ENI.....we simply work harder.

ÌYÁ RE LÈ LÓWÓ LÓWÓ.....your mother may be wealthy.

BÀBÁ SÌ LÈ LÉSIN LÉÈKÀN.....your father may have a ranch full of horses.

BÍ O BÁ GBÓJÚ LÉ WON,........ if you depend on their riches alone.

O TÉ TÁN NI MO SO FÚN O,......you may end up in disgrace, I tell you.

OHUN TÍ A KÒ BA JÌYÀ FÚN,.....whatever gain one does not work hard to earn.

KÌ Í LÈ TÓJÓ.....usually does not last

OHUN TÍ A BÁ FARA SISÉ FÚN,....whatever gain one works hard to earn

NÍ Í PÉ LÓWÓ ENI.....is the one that lasts in one's hands.(while in ones possession)

APÁ LARÁ, ÌGÙNPÁ NÌYEKAN...... the arm is a relative, the elbow is a sibling

BÍ AYÉ N FÉ O LÓNÌÍ,....you may be loved by all today

BÍ O BÁ LÓWÓ LÓWÓ,......it is when you have money.

NI WON Á MÁA FÉ O LÓLA......that they will love you tomorrow.

TÀBÍ TÍ O BÁ WÀ NÍ IPÒ ÀTÀTÀ,.....or when you are in a high position.

AYÉ Á YÉ O SÍ TÈRÍN-TÈRÍN,.....all will honor you with cheers and smiles.

JÉ KÍ O DI ENI N RÁÁGÓ,....wait till you become poor or are struggling to get by.

as they pass you by.

ÈKÓ SÌ TÚN N SONI Í DÒGÁ,.....education also elevates one in position.

MÚRA KÍ O KÓ O DÁRADÁRA.....work hard to acquire good education.

BÍ O SÌ RÍ ÒPÒ ÈNÌYÀN,.....and if you see a lot of people.

TÍ WÓN N FI ÈKÓ SE ÈRÍN RÍN,....making education a laughing stock.

DÁKUN MÁ SE FARA WÉ WON.....please do not emulate or keep their company.

EKÚN N BE FÓMO TÓ N SÁ KIRI.......sorrow is in the reserve for a truant kid.
